Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly came up with five traits of excellence following the 2016 season and the Fighting Irish have fully embraced them.
On Saturday night, Notre Dame demonstrated each one in a thrilling 32-29 win over Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Yes, it wasn’t always pretty at times, but this team has the same footprint all over it as other teams since 2016.
