A Canadian much more important than I'll ever be once sang, "Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you got 'till it's gone." Those words could be said about a lot of things, but for Notre Dame fans right now it feels appropriate to say them about former assistant Mike Denbrock.
He is a terrific coach that did a great job on the field and as a recruiter. He never had the hype around him that others on the staff did, but losing him this off season was a definite blow to the program.
