It wasn’t quite 7 on 7, but it must have felt like it.

Jack Coan dropped back 37 times and was only under pressure on four of those. There hasn’t been a game all season where he’s had less pressure against him than that.

Credit needs to be given to Notre Dame’s protection, who was only responsible for the one sack, but let’s not ignore the fact that Stanford simply didn’t have anyone who threatened consistently as a pass rusher.
