2023 LB Phil Picciotti Talks Notre Dame, Freeman, Return Trip

Phil Picciotti‍ figured Marcus Freeman would be a head coach one day, he just didn’t think it would be this quick, but the 2023 Pennsylvania is happy to see that’s what happened when Brian Kelly left Notre Dame late last month.

“It was actually crazy to see,” says Picciotti, who landed an offer from then-Irish defensive coordinator Freeman back in October.

The Pennridge High School standout took a visit to South Bend a month later.
