Notre Dame early enrollee Billy Schrauth has arrived in South Bend and spoke about his first couple of weeks on campus.
The 6-foot-4, 272-pounder recently had foot surgery, but Schrauth isn't letting it slow him down. Schrauth is still showing up for workouts as he doesn't want to miss anything despite being in a boot.
Schrauth discussed his experience at the All-American Bowl as he faced much stiffer competition. In fact, Schrauth had fun with the ups and downs of the week, but it also led to a new confidence in his own game.
The Wisconsin native also looked back at his recruitment. There were several times where Schrauth almost committed to Notre Dame, but COVID impacted his recruitment as he couldn't visit programs.
Schrauth went in-depth about the in-home visit with Marcus Freeman and Tommy Rees, which was one of the highlights of his recruitment.
