Sam Pendleton‍ seemed to be getting close to a decision when the 2023 North Carolina offensive lineman announced a Top Five a couple of months ago.

But the offers continued to flood in and the Reagan High School standout’s list has been expanded rather than shortened since.

At the start of February, Pendleton released a Top Five of Clemson, Virginia Tech, NC State, Penn State and Michigan. Sources close to the situation got the sense a decision could be made within weeks.
