WHAT TO WATCH 

- The two midweek games against Valpo and Purdue Fort Wayne couldn’t come at a better time as it will ideally allow Notre Dame to get back on track after getting swept by Duke over the weekend. 

- Valpo LHP Connor Lockwood went 3.2 innings giving up six hits, two runs, one walk and two strikeouts against the Irish on March 15th as he came in relief for Zach Fricke. 

- With back-to-back midweek games, Notre Dame will utilize its bullpen as it’s a golden opportunity to get some quality work in before a big three-game series with Wake Forest this weekend.

- Notre Dame struggled at the plate over the weekend against Duke as strikeouts were a major issue. The Irish struck out 39 times in three games, including 16 times on Friday.
