For the second day in a row, Notre Dame made the first five periods of practice open to the media. The Irish wore full pads at practice No. 7.
Of note, sophomore wide receiver Deion Colzie showed up to practice in street clothes. He wore a knee brace and gingerly across Courtney Lane. Sophomore linebacker Prince Kollie attended practice in shorts and a T-shirt.
