The recruiting process has already started for Quincy Porter‍.

The 2025 New Jersey wide receiver currently holds offers from Syracuse, Duke, Boston College, Rutgers and Michigan.

But when talking to people about the budding Bergen Catholic High School star, it’s obvious that’s nothing compared to what he’s likely to see in the years – and probably months to come.

“I'm chill about it,” the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder says of the offers he has already. “Yeah, it's exciting, but I'm just chill about it.”

Porter has taken an unofficial visit to Rutgers “because it’s nearby,” but hasn’t taken any other trips just yet.

He’s planning to hit the road, but is in no rush to do so.

“Pretty much after the season,” he said. “Nothing during the season.”

Porter is expected to have a big sophomore season at Bergen Catholic this year and that’s his main focus.

“I just want to show my ability to run routes and catch the ball,” he said.

Notre Dame invited him to some camps this season, but he didn’t make it.

Porter says he doesn’t know much about the Irish.

“I know a few kids from Bergen Catholic go there,” he said, referring to former teammates and current Notre Dame freshmen Steve Angeli and Jayden Bellamy.

“They like it, but I don't really know much about Notre Dame.”

He does have an idea of what he’s looking for in a school.

“I would say a place where I can of course get better and be able to show my skills and stuff.”
