On Thursday, the Irish held a 90-play scrimmage inside Notre Dame Stadium for practice No. 12 of fall camp. 

For about 30 plays, the first-team offense faced off against the first-team defense. The second and third-team units each received a similar number of snaps. 

Head coach Marcus Freeman’s objective was to create as many competitive situations as possible through the scrimmage, and he tailored the rules accordingly.
