Sunday Reflections

1-2. 

The vibes around Notre Dame were much better on Saturday night as the Fighting Irish picked up the first win of the season and for first-year head coach Marcus Freeman. 

Freeman exhaled about four times in public, so one can only imagine what he was thinking on the last drive or when the ball squirted out of Jeremiah Hunter’s hands in the end zone.

Cal gave everything and one could say the Irish also emptied the tank.
