Rewatch Notes | Notre Dame Defense vs North Carolina

On the surface, 32 points and giving up three passing plays of 40-yards or more would have seemed like a recipe for disaster for the Notre Dame defense. I guess it could have been if they hadn’t played so well outside of those three explosive passing plays.

This was a game where the numbers in the box score weren’t close to an accurate reflection of what the Irish put together on film.

Notre Dame’s run defense was fantastic.
