Nine three-and-outs, 4.6 yards per attempt, and a 19.7% Havoc rate? That’s precisely how you want to see the Notre Dame defense control a game.

They handled an overmatched UNLV offense like they should have. There’s three or four plays that swing this game to holding them to seven rather than 21 and that’s what remains for this group.

We’ll see if they can take things up a level against better competition the next two weeks.
