2024 S Donovan Aidoo Looks Forward To Notre Dame Return

Donovan Aidoo‍ was in South Bend for camp this summer and when the 2024 Arizona safety was invited to return for a game this fall, he didn’t hesitate.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder will be back in town for Saturday night’s game against Clemson.

“When I came there during the summer, I really liked the campus and stuff,” the Higley High School standout told ISD. “I liked the fields and everything. It was really nice. The coaches are amazing, they're nice, they help you with anything. It was a really good experience. I think that's really why I was wanting to come back.

“I would just want to see some of the faces I saw last time, some of the DB coaches. I also want to see the fans. I want to see the players and stuff like that, which I didn't get to really see there the first time I went.”

Aidoo already has offers from Washington State, Iowa State, Northern Arizona and San Diego State.

He’s working for more, but is grateful to all of the schools that have already offered.

“It's awesome,” he said. “Even the first offer, I couldn't believe it was real. Ut feels amazing that all the work I put in and all the work I do on the field and off the field is just finally paying off.

“I hope for more to come, but I'm always appreciative just to even have one, so having four is amazing.”

He’s made a few visits already this fall and has another planned for later in the month.

“Last weekend, I went to Cal and I've also been to ASU a couple times,” he said.

“Next weekend, me and my quarterback Jamar Malone, we're going to USC.”
