BREAKING: Elite DB Allen Commits To ND

Notre Dame started the day by picking up a commitment from a top 2018 cornerback and the Irish ended the day the same way with Georgia cornerback Derrik Allen announcing his commitment to the Irish.

Allen’s commitment comes just hours after 2018 Michigan cornerback Kalon Gervin announced his pledge to the Irish. Allen gives Notre Dame eight pledges in the 2018 class and a second elite prospect at cornerback, where the Irish failed to score a prospect in the Class of 2017.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder from Lassiter High School was the owner of an elite offer sheet that included schools like Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Florida, LSU and several others.
