SAN ANTONIO – The East and West squads practiced together at the Alamodome on Wednesday afternoon, putting Micah Bell, Adon Shuler, Brenan Vernon, Sullivan Absher and Drayk Bowen on the field at the same time.
The Notre Dame signees continued their strong showings down here this week.
Bell had an especially impressive day in coverage, including an impressive interception, while Vernon got the best of Absher during the Irish-on-Irish one-on-one rep.
Still, Absher continued to show he’s getting used to the level of competition down here.
Shuler continues to be a presence on the back end while Bowen is still the kind of player who is simply difficult to miss.
