Notre Dame’s 2023 schedule has been official for a couple of weeks now and it’s interesting for a number of reasons. 

One of the challenges of building a schedule without a conference is making it competitive and Jack Swarbrick has certainly accomplished that goal over the years. One can argue having Clemson, Ohio State and USC is overly aggressive given how ACC, Big Ten and SEC programs have scheduled as of late.
