2024 DE Mylachi Williams Wants To See "Everything" At Notre Dame
We’ve known his coach was serious about Notre Dame and now it’s clear that Mylachi Williams is as well.
The 2024 Philadelphia edge defender has only one trip planned so far this spring and that’s to South Bend.
“I'm visiting the 22nd of April,” the 6-foot-5, 210-pounder tells ISD.
The Monsignor Bonner High School standout was excited about the offer when he received it last month, but locking in the trip has to make Irish defensive coordinator Al Golden feel good.
“He's just basically telling me he wants to get me up to campus,” Williams says.
“He just sent me the dates, so I just locked it in.”
Golden has made a good initial impression on Williams.
“He's pretty nice,” he says. “He's a pretty good coach.”
Williams’ offer sheet includes schools like Penn State, Pitt, Georgia, Tennessee Syracuse, Boston College, Duke, Texas A&M, Illinois and Vanderbilt among others.
Williams’ high school head coach, Jack Muldoon, is a huge Notre Dame fan and will be at the Blue-Gold Game with him.
He won’t do anything to push Williams to any specific school, but it’d be impossible to hide the fact that he’s a true Irish fan.
“He's just hyped up that we are going down there,” Williams says of his coach.
What does Williams want to see when he gets to campus?
“Everything. Everything.”
