Post-Visit Update | 2024 Notre Dame LB Target Bodie Kahoun

A little more than a month after receiving an offer from Notre Dame, Bodie Kahoun‍ was able to get on the campus in South Bend on Wednesday.

The 2024 Virginia linebacker was not disappointed.

He called the visit “amazing” and said every box “was checked.”

It was a full day for the Patrick Henry High School star.

He got to sit in on meetings, watch practice, tour campus and meet with virtually the entire defensive staff.

He was grateful to have the chance to meet the coaches in person and said they were “exactly” what he expected them to be like.

The staff had Kahoun watch film of JD Bertrand from last year and asked him to watch Bertrand during practice on Wednesday to get an idea of the role he’d be playing at Notre Dame.

Kahoun was impressed with the discipline and speed with which the Irish operated and said he couldn’t tell it was their first day out there.

He “definitely” felt it was a group of players he could fit in well with.

Kahoun also spent time in a multiple academic meetings and was told how Notre Dame is almost like an Ivy League school that would set him up for life.

Currently committed to Ohio State for lacrosse, Kahoun also met with the Irish lacrosse staff and was told he’d have a spot on their squad if he wanted one.

He’s planning to return to South Bend for the spring game next month.

But next up are stops at Duke and South Carolina this weekend.
