2025 LB Deuce Williams Talks Notre Dame, Irish Invasion
Less than a month after receiving an offer from Notre Dame, Anthony Williams was in South Bend for Irish Invasion this past weekend.
“It went great,” the 2025 Texas linebacker told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “I liked it. I liked how the coaches are hands-on with us.
The 6-foot-2, 183-pounder got positive feedback from the Notre Dame coaching staff because of his performance.
“They said they liked how I moved,” Williams said. “They really liked my film, and they pretty much just want me to get better and better at just covering more ground and, gain space and gaining weight also.”
The Houston native was impressed with what he saw in South Bend.
“The campus is amazing,” he said. “It is really good. It's like a little city down here. I like how it is.”
The Shadow Creek High School star also has offers from TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Arizona State, Washington State and Cal among others.
He plans on visiting Baylor, Houston and Oregon soon and expects to be back in South Bend for a game this fall.
Williams isn’t going to rush the process and my not cut his list down until sometime next summer.
