Antonio Harris‍ got his first look at Notre Dame when he made the trip for Irish Invasion earlier this month and the 2025 Kentucky defensive back was impressed with what he heard and saw in South Bend.

“I liked it,” the 6-foot, 175-pounder told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “It was very fun. I liked the atmosphere. I liked the coaches around there. It was nice to see what they're all about.”

The Louisville Male High School standout heard plenty from Irish cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens and safeties coach Chris O’Leary.

“I was hearing a lot from the DB coaches, talking about my technique and talking about my breaks and just the way I play,” said Harris. “I like how they taught us more than we had to like go out there and perform. They taught us what we had to do like coaches should.”

Harris has early offers from Kentucky, Louisville and Purdue. He was happy with his performance at Notre Dame’s showcase camp.

“I think I did good,” he said. “In the one-on-ones I did good. I didn't have any balls caught on me. In the technique and stuff, I'm a little rusty because I just came off track, but I'm getting back into it. I felt good.”

The staff seemed to feel the same.

“They said I did good,” Harris explained. “They're going to keep in touch and see what happens in the future.”

Harris also enjoyed the opportunity to see the campus and facilities in South Bend.

“When I came in for registration, they had us go through the stadium, go through the locker room,” he said. “I liked the way it was all put together. I took a picture of the sign and all that stuff. It was nice.”

He’s got a few more visits and camps on the docket.

“I've got Louisville on Wednesday and then I got Ohio State on the 15th and Kentucky on the 13th,” said Harris. “It's going to be a busy month for me.”

He expects to return to South Bend soon.

“I'll most definitely come back during the season,” he said. "

Harris’ first impressions of Notre Dame are certainly positive.

“I like it,” he said. “I want them to throw the offer and see what happens next.”

He has a good idea of what he’s looking for in a college.

“Great people, great teaching, great school and great students and great atmosphere around the fans.”
