Tre' Harrison‍ made the trip out to South Bend earlier this week and the big-time 2025 California defensive back was not disappointed.

“Everything went well,” the 6-foot, 175-pounder told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “I was blown away. I had a great time up there.

“Just the tradition I didn't even know of. I learned a lot about the rich tradition at Notre Dame and how prestigous they really are.”

The Junipero Serra High School star said the attention the Irish have shown him led him to making the trip out for a camp on Tuesday.

“Their direct interest in me,” Harrison said. “They showed the most interest so far, which really stood out to me. I was just looking forward to the coaching and just coming out and getting better along with the visit.”

He spent most of the trip with Irish safeties coach Chris O’Leary and cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens.

“They were real cool guys,” he said. “They made me work for sure. They took advantage of the time that they had with me. I went into the camp today like a sponge and I took everything that they were saying into account because I already know it's going to make me a much better ball player at the end of the day.

Harrison landed an offer from the Irish back in March and also has offers from Boston College and Colorado State.

He’s looking forward to continuing communications with the Irish in the coming months and to a return trip.

“We were talking a little bit and then talking about maybe a fall game,” he said. “I'll probably come back in the fall, probably like November or something.”

He doesn’t have any other visits scheduled yet though.

“We'll see if anything changes, but as of right now, nothing.”
