Observations from Notre Dame Fall Camp Practice No. 5

Notre Dame made the first five periods of fall camp practice No. 5 open to the media on Monday. The Fighting Irish wore helmets without pads.

Tight end Kevin Bauman came dressed for practice but spent at least the first five periods in the pit. During warmups, freshman cornerback Micah Bell stood on the sidelines in a long-sleeve T-shirt and shorts but seemed to walk around just fine.
