And in Notre Dame’s case, over the last month, they have.

At the start of July, the Irish’s recruiting momentum wasn’t just stalled, it was moving in reverse.

Shortly after missing out on top defensive tackle target Justin Scott‍, the Irish actually lost a recruit when receiver Isiah Canion‍ announced his decommitment.
