Sam Greer‍ is bound to be a big-time recruit.

In fact with the types of offers he has, the 2026 Ohio offensive lineman already is.

The Archbishop Hoban High School standout’s early offer sheet includes schools like Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Miami, Tennessee, Louisville and Purdue.

Last month, Greer made his way over to South Bend for Notre Dame’s game against Pittsburgh.

“The visit was more than I expected,” the 6-foot-8, 305-pounder said. “I was definitely impressed.”

While in town, Greer was able to speak with offensive line coach Joe Rudolph, offensive coordinator Gerad Parker and head coach Marcus Freeman.

“I had an opportunity to talk to Coach Freeman and Coach Rudolph as well as the offensive coordinator,” he said. “Everyone was sincere in welcoming me.”

He also had the chance to look around the campus in South Bend.

“I got to see the indoor facility, which was quite impressive,” he said. “I definitely enjoyed visiting The Basilica and Grotto as well as the rest of the amazing campus.”

And he enjoyed the Irish’s 58-7 victory over the Panthers.

“I was impressed by their special teams and got an amazing opportunity to see some of the best o-linemen in the nation play,” he said.

Greer was at Michigan this past weekend and could get back to Ann Arbor in the future. He does plan on returning to South Bend in the future as well.

“I will say I left campus knowing I’d like to return.”
