2025 WR Malik Clark Talks Notre Dame Offer, Possible Visit

Notre Dame has a new name on its 2025 recruiting board at receiver.

On Thursday, Irish receivers coach Mike Brown extended a scholarship offer to South Carolina wideout Malik Clark‍.

“I appreciate it,” Clark said of the offer from the Irish. “That's a prestigious program. I'm really grateful that they think that I'm talented enough to play on their team.”

Clark said Brown was impressed with the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder’s frame and blazing track times.

“My length and my speed,” Clark said of what Brown likes about him. “He felt like I could help the team right away.”

The Rock Hill High School standout already has a visit date in mind, but cautioned that it’s “not all the way set.”

But Clark is looking at squeezing in a midweek official visit to Notre Dame on June 18th.

“Just to get to meet the coaches and the people there and really start to build a relationship,” he said.

Clark took an official to South Carolina this past weekend and has three others set over the next few weeks.

“I've got UNC on the 7th and then I've got Florida State on the 14th and then I have NC State on the 21st,” he said.

Clark said at the moment, he isn’t considering any other additional schools for officials.

He’s planning to make a decision this summer, potentially soon after he completes his official visits.

Comfort, fit and football will be among the biggest factors to his ultimate decision.

“The people there, where I feel like I have the best relationship with and the place I feel like can help me develop as a receiver and become the best player that I possibly can be.”
