The recruitment of Tanook Hines‍ has taken some twists and turns.

Notre Dame truly became a factor in it when the 2025 Texas receiver took an unofficial visit to South Bend earlier this spring.

The visit checked so many boxes for Hines and it immediately became clear that the Irish were firm contenders and that he would be back. He makes that return trip for his official visit this weekend, but a couple other schools have since cemented themselves as major factors as well.
