2025 Notre Dame WR Target Dylan Robinson Sets Announcement Date
Dylan Robinson has set a date for his college announcement.
“July 18th is the date,” the 2025 California receiver told Irish Sports Daily.
“It feels good, feels good. I'm excited. I finally get to commit.”
Robinson goes into decision mode following official visits to Notre Dame, Utah, Washington and UCLA.
UCLA was his final visit at the end of June.
“It was good,” the Bonita High School standout said of that trip. “It was good; good people, good staff, good visit for sure.”
Robinson made a mid-week visit to Notre Dame prior to that UCLA visit and the Irish have kept in consistent contact with him since.
“It's been basically every day, I talk to them every day,” Robinson said. “They're getting me in contact with people who went there, alumni and people who would go in my path for school. It's been cool. I've learned a lot.
“It was really just about the path they took and just how it is in that path, and then specifically at Notre Dame, what it's like going through those classes and whatnot.”
Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman and receivers coach Mike Brown have also made tremendous impressions on Robinson over the past couple months.
“They're awesome,” he said. “I There's no complaints. They're just good people, for sure.”
While the Irish are recruiting the 6-foot-3, 195-pound speedster to play receiver, some of his other contenders see him more as a defender.
“They're actually going to let me go both ways at UCLA and UDub,” he said.
That will be a big factor in his decision, but Robinson isn’t saying it will be the factor.
“It's going to be a decision that I have to make for sure if I want to play defense or receiver,” he said. “I don't know about deciding factor, but definitely a decision.”
Robinson doesn’t seem to be feeling too much pressure heading into the announcement.
“Maybe a little bit of stress. There are so many good people I have to decide between, but I can see the end and it'll be alright.”
