July didn’t go as planned on the recruiting trail for Notre Dame after a hot start by landing the commitment of four-star safety JaDon Blair‍. 

Receivers Tanook Hines‍, Derek Meadows‍ and Dylan Robinson‍ didn’t pick up the Notre Dame hat and the Irish desperately needed one of the three. It’s worth pointing out that the staff didn’t push too hard for Hines over the last month.
