Brayden Robinson‍ has continued to stay in touch with Notre Dame since the 2026 Texas receiver picked up his Irish offer on Pot of Gold Day.

The message from Notre Dame has been a consistent one.

“Basically the same thing, 'It's bigger than football with Notre Dame. You come to Notre Dame and get a good education,'” Robinson said of what he’s heard from the Irish.

“They're just saying that place is really different.”

The 5-foot-8, 160-pounder said he’s been in touch with Notre Dame receivers coach Mike Brown, head coach Marcus Freeman and Assistant To The General Manager Carter Auman.

“They seem like great people,” Robinson said. “I haven't got a chance to go down there and visit yet, but from the conversations we have had they seem very genuine.”

The Red Oak High School standout said he’d “definitely” like to get to South Bend for a game.

“I just haven't sat down and seen the schedule yet and see how it's going to work this season,” he said.

Robinson knows what he’d be looking for if he did visit.

“How I fit in the offense, see where I could be plugged in,” he said. “Just seeing the campus and the environment of the city. Just seeing if that's a place I can consider being.”

As for how he’d like to fit in, Robinson - who also has offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Baylor, SMU, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan and Auburn among several others - would like to be used in multiple ways.

“I just don't want to be stuck in one position,” he said. “I feel like I'm pretty versatile all over the field, whether that's playing slot, outside, being used in the backfield, return-wise. I just feel like I can do it all and we'll just see what program presents that the most.”

Robinson made visits to SMU, Baylor, Arkansas and Ohio State in recent months.

He doesn’t have anything scheduled for the fall yet.

“I'm still sitting down and seeing how the schedule's going to play out,” he said.

He isn’t in a rush to start cutting his list either.

“I probably wouldn't be narrowing it down until February,” he said.

And his biggest factors in that decision remain education and how his family feels about the school.

”Most definitely.”
