2026 Notre Dame QB Commit Noah Grubbs Ready For Junior Season

Noah Grubbs‍ had quite the eventful offseason as the 2026 Florida quarterback worked through the final stages of the recruiting process, which ultimately ended with him committing to Notre Dame.

The 6-foot-5, 193-pounder also spent a great deal of time working to make himself a better quarterback physically and mentally.

And now, Grubbs is just about ready to see the fruits of that labor.

The Lake Mary High School star and his teammates will get started with their season here this month.

“We have the Jamboree coming up August 9th, and then the Kickoff Classic the week after that,” said Grubbs. “Then, Cardinal Gibbons down in Broward County. That's Week One.”

Grubbs especially excited about the opponents he’ll face this season.

“We have an amazing schedule to showcase talent,” he said. “Cardinal Gibbons, Osceola, Lakeland, Seminole, amazing teams we're going against and amazing coaches we're going against.

“Me and my team, we're going to have to come together and coaches are going to come together. We're just going to have to build this thing as a program and take it all the way. I believe that this year can be our year to come out with the ring.”

Grubbs was seen as a national-caliber recruit even before his sophomore season, which led to an explosion of interest and climb up recruiting boards. But he’s convinced he’s even better heading into his junior year.

“I believe I got better in the footwork,” he said. “I slimmed down some, so I'm more mobile. I feel like I'm getting better at reading defenses this year, going off the safeties and corner lineups and being able to call out the backers on protection.”

Grubbs is also looking forward to flashing more of his athleticism by getting out of the pocket.

“One of my goals this season is just to extend the plays that seem dead; whether that's scrambling and making a play on the run, throwing the ball, or that's just picking up five yards with my legs,” he said.

“Anything to get the team to the next level and then keep the play going, I'll do it.”
