Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman spoke following Saturday's win over Miami (OH). 

On the win: 
”Proud of the way our guys competed. It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t clean, but to beat that football team 23-8, I told them it was a really good victory. I think they’re going to be a really good team. I told Coach (Chuck) Martin after the game that they were a good football team.
