Penn State football coach James Franklin spoke for the final time before Thursday's Orange Bowl against Notre Dame.

Opening statement:
”We are honored and blessed to be here, obviously to represent Penn State University, also the Big Ten, honored to compete against Marcus and his Notre Dame football team. Got a ton of respect for Marcus. I've followed his career for a long time. We have friends and coaches in common. Gerad Parker was on both of our staffs.
