Brayden Robinson‍ had been wanting to get to South Bend for a while and the Irish staff wanted to get the 2026 Texas receiver on campus for a while.

This weekend, it finally happened as Robinson made the trip for Notre Dame’s Junior Day.

“It was good,” Robinson told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “It was really good.

“We had a whole campus tour. We got to go to the indoor facility that they had up there, got to go inside the stadium. We pretty much saw everything.”

The Red Oak High School star was impressed with campus.

“It's pretty quiet and I like that,” he said. “Not too much commotion going on. Definitely somewhere I could focus.”

Robinson, who has offers from schools like Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, LSU, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon among others, also appreciated spending time with Irish receivers coach Mike Brown.

“I'm high on their board and I'm a priority for them,” Robinson said of the message from Brown. “It meant a lot. They definitely showed it with their actions as well, making sure I felt loved and making sure that they were making me feel like I was at home.”

The Irish see the 5-foot-8, 165-pound Robinson helping in a variety of ways.

“Mainly at slot, but they want to use me around to create mismatches on offense and definitely in the return game,” said Robinson, who added that’s how he sees himself as well.

Robinson enjoyed getting around the other staff members and people at Notre Dame.

“They were definitely good,” he said. “That's mainly their motto; it's about the people up there set away from football itself. That's a great place. You can meet other people, people who are going to be CEOs one day and definitely set you up for life opportunities.”

Robinson said the education at Notre Dame “speaks for itself.”

“When you go through the list and see how many guys and CEOs and owners of companies, that's big stuff,” he said.

While in town, he had the chance to speak with the Irish’s 2026 quarterback commit.

“I talked to Noah Grubbs for a little bit,” said Robinson. “We got to chop it up for a while. He wants me to come up there with him and take the thing over with him.

“For a quarterback reaching out to me, it means I might get the ball a lot, so I like that.”

Robinson doesn’t have any other visits set at the moment.

“I'm still trying to figure out my top schools list and stuff like that. The next few weeks and months  will probably be an evaluation period for myself.”
