2026 Myers Park (N.C.) receiver Brody Keefe‍ visited Notre Dame for the Pitt game in 2023 and will return to campus on March 28th.

The four-star prospect and Notre Dame receivers coach Mike Brown have been communicating more lately, leading to the second trip to South Bend.

“Coach Brown and I have gotten much closer recently,” stated Keefe. “I like his personality and attitude.”

Keefe’s relationship with his future position coach is vital to his recruitment. The North Carolina native knows he’ll be spending the most time with his receiver coach and building a strong rapport is crucial at this point in the process.

“I would say a relationship with the wide receiver coach is one of the most important, if not the most important,” Keefe said.

The trip to Notre Dame next month will be an important one. Keefe is closing in on shutting down his recruitment, so getting another look at Marcus Freeman’s program was on his to-do list.

In addition to spending time with Brown, Keefe wants to get a more in-depth look at the program as a whole.

“I want to continue to develop relationships and see the coaches in a football environment,” explained Keefe. “ And grow closer with the staff and get a better feel for campus.”

This could be a defining stretch in Keefe’s recruitment. As mentioned, he wants to decide soon and he’ll also visit Florida and Georgia.

“I will decide between April and June,” said Keefe. “That’s my timeframe.”
