Notre Dame will host several 2026 targets and commits this month - in fact, the Irish already have.

But as the Irish are trying to shore up their current recruiting class, as always, they’re also at work on the classes coming behind them and will host dozens of prospects for this weekend’s Irish Invasion.

In advance, we’re taking a look at some of the prospects expected to participate in Friday’s showcase camp. This is not an exhaustive list.

We fully expect more newsworthy players to be added to the list before the end of the week and as always, we anticipate some last-minute scratches.

Today, we take a look at some of the quarterbacks expected to attend.

As we all know, the Irish have yet to officially send out any offers at quarterback in the Class of 2027 just yet.

We’re thinking that will change soon as Notre Dame continues to have rising junior signal-callers come through this month, including several who will be on campus this weekend.

Georgia QB Teddy Jarrard

Georgia’s Teddy Jarrard‍ is one quarterback we’re going to be monitoring very closely this week. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder will arrive on Thursday with offers already in hand from schools like Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Miami, Auburn, North Carolina, NC State, Arkansas, Duke and Wisconsin among several others.

Given his current offer sheet, the fact that Jarrard is visiting Notre Dame suggests his interest is genuine - we’ve confirmed with sources close to him that it is - and that him receiving an offer is a real possibility.

Jarrard didn’t race to get the recruiting process started and isn’t going to race to get it finished, so guessing which schools will be at the top of his list would be speculative at this point. Still, we’re confident programs like Georgia and Ohio State will get serious looks as well as Notre Dame, should the Irish ultimately offer.

Louisiana QB Malachi Zeigler

Louisiana’s Malachi Zeigler‍ has been high on the Irish since quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli became one of the very first high-major coaches to show him interest during his freshman season at Benton High School.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder has since enjoyed building a bond with Guidugli. Zeigler visited South Bend back in March and left tremendously impressed. Zeigler saw his recruiting profile rise last month with offers from Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, Duke and Wisconsin.

Still, some schools have told him they’d like to see more on-field production from him in the fall before offering, something Zeigler has fully understood and embraced as a challenge. Whether Notre Dame becomes a school that offers this summer or waits until the fall, it sounds like Zeigler’s interest is strong enough to keep them in the race if they do ultimately offer.

Illinois QB Jameson Purcell

Illinois’ Jameson Purcell‍ has visited South Bend several times over the past couple years. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder has put together an impressive offer sheet that includes schools like Wisconsin, Nebraska, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Auburn, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, UCLA and Oregon among several others. Purcell’s repeated visits to South Bend even now that his offer sheet includes several major programs is a sign that his interest in Notre Dame is genuine.

2027 Georgia quarterback Derrick Baker‍ has an impressive offer sheet that includes Ohio State, Florida State, Miami, Maryland, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Indiana among others. He’ll be joined in South Bend by Milton High School teammates, tight end Grant Haviland and receiver Jordan Carrasquillo.

We’ll also be eyeing 2027 Kentucky quarterback Emmett Queen‍, who has an early offer from Kentucky.

There are also a few 2028 quarterbacks worth noting as well.

On the heels of a stop at his high school from Guidugli, California’s Treyvone Towns Jr.‍ told us he would get to Notre Dame this summer and he is making good on that promise. His early offer sheet includes Ohio State, Penn State and Washington among others. Towns is extremely mature for his age and although it’s early, Notre Dame can likely offer much of what he’s looking for.

Georgia’s Grayson Clary‍ saw a major boost to his recruitment when Oregon offered him on May 1st. He’s also looking at schools like Georgia, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and South Carolina among others.Another name of interest is Carson Schoen‍. The 2028 New Jersey quarterback is the son of New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen. The Don Bosco signal-caller made a name for himself during last year’s Hard Knocks, when he prodded his father to trade up to draft Jayden Daniels.

He attracted more attention before this year’s Draft, when he shared highlights of eventual Giants draft pick Jaxson Dart on his Instagram page prior to the Draft.
