BREAKING | 2026 OL Grayson McKeogh Commits to Notre Dame
Notre Dame’s 2026 offensive line class had one goal last weekend and it was to convince 2026 La Salle College (Pa.) standout Grayson McKeogh to commit to Notre Dame.
Mission accomplished.
The four-star offensive lineman gave his verbal pledge to the Fighting Irish and became the fifth member of the 2026 haul.
“I feel like the thing that's going to separate these last couple of schools that I have left are just what the guys are like and how they hang out together and the bond that they have,” McKeogh said before his official visit.
Well, it appears Notre Dame’s commits and current players did a great job of showing McKeogh what life is like as a student-athlete in South Bend.
Joe Rudolph, Rob Delaney and Carter Auman all played significant roles in landing McKeogh, who admitted before his official visit that Notre Dame had been very consistent in communication over the last few months.
“It definitely gives me reassurance that they are a team that has shown consistent interest in me and somewhere that I feel like I'm going to be prioritized,” McKeogh told ISD earlier this month. ‘They've just been able to stay consistent with that and like I said, it's a good feeling.
The 6-foot-8, 285-pounder really connected well the Rudolph, who made it very clear he was needed in South Bend.
“He's just a really fun guy,” explained McKeogh. “Nothing is forced when I'm with him. It's like he's just a naturally good guy to be around. I'm sure the guys really appreciate that. It definitely helps build that relationship with them just like it's been building with me. We've spent time with his family and my family and everybody gets along and it's always a good time. That's not by accident.”
McKeogh projects to tackle and he’ll join Sullivan Garvin, Ben Nichols, Tyler Merrill and Gregory Patrick in the class.
