2026 Notre Dame WR Target Brayden Robinson Moves Up Decision
Brayden Robinson had his decision date locked in for months.
The 2026 Texas receiver would announce his college decision on July 20th.
But after taking official visits to Arizona, Miami and Notre Dame, Robinson moved his announcement date up by two full weeks to July 6th.
“I feel like it was just too much time,” Robinson told Irish Sports Daily.
“I'm ready, man. I can't express it enough.”
Robinson will choose between his three finalists; Notre Dame, Miami and Arizona.
Those three schools made it to the end with the way they recruited him over the past several months.
“Just the connection, consistency with the recruiting,” he said of what set his finalists apart. “I just wanted to find somewhere I'm not tolerated, but appreciated by the program, somewhere that I'll be utilized correctly.
“That was pretty much it.”
The 5-foot-8, 165-pounder likes the way the Irish would use him if he chose Notre Dame.
“Mainly in the slot, but they'll move me around inside, outside, backfield and in the return game,” he said.
“I feel like it fits pretty good. I feel like I could do pretty much everything.”
Robinson has had some communication with Notre Dame since his official visit a couple weeks ago, mainly with receivers coach Mike Brown.
“We've got a pretty good relationship since he's been recruiting me since last spring,” Robinson said of Brown.
“He's a good dude.”
The Irish have two receivers in the fold currently with Dylan Faison and Bubba Frazier.
They have two more, in addition to Robinson, on the Target List in Kaydon Finley and Devin Fitzgerald.
Coincidentally - or maybe not - Finley will announce on July 4th and Fitzgerald will announce on July 5th.
