Well, Marcus Freeman didn’t win it all in year three like a number of the best and most successful Irish head coaches have in the past. He came close, but it just didn’t happen. People tend to look at history in regards for future results, but it doesn’t always work that way. Remember, Notre Dame hasn’t had the best of luck with first-time head coaches over the years, but Freeman appears to changing that narrative quickly.
