Mike Mickens and the Notre Dame coaching staff constructed their current defensive backs room with purpose. 

It’s a room that will be counted on all season and one that by the very nature of its existence will almost certainly improve from here.

Mickens didn’t just build a secondary good enough to compete on the field, he put together a group of guys who are truly a family, capable of competing and supporting each other at the same time.
