After making a trip up to South Bend back in the summer, Titus Hawk‍ will return to Notre Dame this weekend.

“I really just want to check it out,” the 2027 Oklahoma tight end told Irish Sports Daily. “I'm going to bring my grandparents up there. They always wanted to see it, so I'm going to bring them up there.”

Hawk’s grandparents are huge Irish fans and he’s grateful for the opportunity to help provide them with the experience.

“It's pretty awesome,” the Choctaw High School standout said. “I know everyone doesn't have that chance and I know I'm very blessed to have a family that's supportive of me in everything I do.”

Despite having several offers from schools like Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska, Florida, Miami, Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State and Arizona State among many others, Hawk hasn’t taken too many trips this season.

“I've been to OU a couple times and I've been to A&M and Texas Tech,” he said.

Besides this weekend’s visit to Notre Dame, Hawk doesn’t have any other visits locked in.

Hawk called his visit to Irish Invasion back in June “awesome,” pointing to the culture and the environment as aspects that stood out most.

He’s looking forward to getting a better feel for the Notre Dame Football program when he returns this weekend for the Irish’s game against Navy on Saturday night.

“I want to see how the coaches interact with players in warmups and during the game and just how the environment is,” the 6-foot-7, 215-pounder said.

Hawk, who is also an elite-level baseball prospect, has been keeping his focus on high school sports; currently football, basketball in a few weeks and baseball after that.

So, he hasn’t spent a ton of time thinking about narrowing his list in any meaningful way just yet.

“Not really,” he told ISD.

“I think I'm going to look into that this spring probably, when I can start taking official visits.”

Until then, Notre Dame and the other schools pursuing him will try to position themselves to be in a good spot when that time comes.
