Official Visit Confirms Things For Notre Dame TE Commit Titus Hawk
Irish tight end commit Titus Hawk breaks down last weekend's official visit to South Bend.
Post-Official Update | Titus Hawk
This weekend's official visit reinforced exactly why Titus Hawk to Notre Dame in the first place. The 2027 Oklahoma tight end spent the weekend in South Bend alongside the rest of the Irish's 2027 commits and came away even more excited about the group he'll eventually join on campus."It was awesome, man," Hawk told Irish Sports Daily. "It was great."The Choctaw High School standout said the weekend provided a closer look at what life will be like once he arrives at Notre Dame."We got the rundown of a bunch of stuff and how it's going to be when we're there," Hawk explained. One of the biggest takeaways was the opportunity to spend extended time with the rest of the recruiting class."It was awesome," Hawk said. "We bonded really well. We were trying to get to know each other so that way when we all come here, we're going to start off hot early."Hawk believes the chemistry already being built among the commits will pay dividends down the road. The weekend also included time with head coach Marcus Freeman, who reiterated his belief in the class Notre Dame is assembling."He was just talking about how we all made the right choice," Hawk said.Hawk spent additional time with offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and tight ends coach Harris Bivin as well."They were awesome," Hawk said. "We spent some good time together. Talked about football a little bit and then just life and priorities a lot more."That focus on life beyond football is one of the biggest reasons Hawk ultimately chose Notre Dame.
