Elite 2027 LB Kaden Henderson Recaps "Amazing" Notre Dame Trip
Kaden Henderson had heard a lot about Notre Dame coming into this weekend’s visit to South Bend.
The elite 2027 Florida linebacker was told he would have an amazing time at Notre Dame and that he would feel a lot of love when he was there.
If anything, Henderson seems to have been undersold.
“Everything was amazing,” Henderson told Irish Sports Daily afterward. “I loved it.”
He certainly felt the love.
“The atmosphere when I stepped in the facility made me feel like home,” he added. “Everyone there was nice and welcoming.”
The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder arrived in town with an elite offer sheet that featured schools like Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Duke, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon and USC among several others.
While in South Bend, the Jesuit High School star had the chance to speak with multiple coaches, including linebackers coach Max Bullough and head coach Marcus Freeman.
“Coach Free’s message to me was there’s no place like ND,” Henderson recalled. “He said that the school I go to now shows that I’m built for ND from religious and academic aspects.”
The Tampa native also enjoyed his conversation with Bullough.
“Coach Bullough was really telling me that I’m the piece they need in the backer room,” Henderson said. “Someone who brings versatility being able to come off the edge and play off the ball.”
Henderson has already been to Miami, Florida State, Tennessee and Alabama with plans to get to USC and Oregon next.
He will be returning to South Bend as well, though.
“I definitely want to be back soon,” he said. “Maybe for spring or a junior day.”
One thing is certain, the Irish helped themselves this weekend.
“Definitely higher than I was on them before my visit.”
