It was what it was…

It wasn’t perfect.  It wasn’t exactly what we had hoped for, but when are things actually perfect?

Rarely.

We all want perfection, but none of us execute at that level in every day life, and hardly any of us put in the kind of effort these kids do to perform on Saturday.

It was a gritty win.  I was a Marcus Freeman win.  It was, “damn, we almost did that perfect, but we just didn’t quite finish it.
