Notre Dame will be part of a busy spring schedule for elite 2028 Kentucky defensive lineman Kellan Hall.
Hall has mapped out an extensive run of visits, including a March 25 stop in South Bend.
Oklahoma on March 7 and Missouri on March 14 begin the stretch, followed by Tennessee on March 28, Kentucky on March 31, Ohio State on April 4, Indiana on April 11 and Georgia on April 18. Louisville and Virginia Tech are expected to host him as well, with dates still to be determined.
The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder said the goal of the swing is finding clarity.
“It’s going to give me clarification,” Hall said. “Seeing how things are run at each school and seeing how they really work in the offseason getting ready for the season.
“Everyone has a goal to win a national championship, so I want to be in a place that prepares me to do that.”
In addition to Notre Dame, Hall holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and SMU among others.
The Christian Academy of Louisville standout prioritized schools that have shown consistent interest early in his process when mapping out his visit.
“Right now, being so young, I was just going after schools that really have shown a lot of interest in me and places that I can see myself playing at,” he said.
Following the visit tour, Hall expects to tighten his focus.
“Definitely narrow it down,” he said of what’s next. “Weighing out my options after this because they’re going to be big recruiting visits and I’ll be seeing a lot of good schools.”
The Irish continue to check important boxes for him.
“Just their ability to put guys in the league in my position and just seeing how hard they work with one another,” Hall said. “The Irish name carries so much weight. They have a lot of historic names.”
He is also eager to get a peek at new defensive line coach Charlie Partridge in action during the March visit.
“Just seeing how he coaches and just seeing how the system would fit my play style,” he said.
Hall has been in contact with assistant defensive line coach Nick Sebastian.
“They really want to get me down there and they still have the same plan for me. Even though Coach (Al) Washington isn’t there, it’s still the same idea and the game plan still sticks.”
