Tyrie Davis-Winn's recruitment is moving fast.

In May alone, the 2028 Pennsylvania offensive lineman added offers from Texas A&M, Texas, Florida, Auburn, UCLA, Wisconsin, NC State and Duke.

Notre Dame hasn’t offered yet, but the Irish will get a good look at the 6-foot-8, 270-pounder this weekend.

Davis-Winn is scheduled to make his first trip to South Bend for Friday’s Irish Invasion, where he'll get to work directly with offensive line coach Joe Rudolph.

Davis-Winn attributed the recent surge of his recruitment to those around him and the values they’ve instilled in him.

"My family, my mom," Davis-Winn told Irish Sports Daily. "I've just been working hard."

That work has quickly transformed the Monsignor Bonner standout into one of the more intriguing offensive line prospects in the 2028 class.

Even with a rapidly expanding offer list, Notre Dame stood out when the opportunity to visit South Bend presented itself.

"It's a big o-line school, big o-line university," Davis-Winn said. "Somewhere I feel as though I could develop and learn a lot."

The relationship with Rudolph is a big reason he feels that way. The two connected after Rudolph visited his school and the conversations quickly turned toward getting him on campus.

"I connected with Coach Rudolph after he came to my school," Davis-Winn said. "We were talking about getting down there and getting some work in."

The visit will provide more than just a chance to see Notre Dame's facilities and campus for the first time.

"It's my first time out there, so just getting a feel for everything," Davis-Winn said.

Davis-Winn is eager to see how Rudolph coaches on the field and whether the fit matches the impression he's already formed from their conversations.

"Just getting coached by Coach Rudolph," Davis-Winn said when asked what he'll be looking for this weekend. "Seeing the facilities and campus. I've heard it's a great place to be."

Rudolph has already left a strong impression.

"He's a great guy," Davis-Winn said. "Very understandable, very relatable."

More importantly, Davis-Winn believes Rudolph has a clear vision for his future.

"He has a plan for me," Davis-Winn said. "He believes in me from what I've seen."

Notre Dame will be the first stop in what promises to be a busy June.

The Drexel Hill, Pa., native has already made spring trips to schools like Texas, Texas A&M and South Carolina and has additional visits scheduled to Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Penn State, Syracuse and Florida later this month.

As the recruiting process continues to accelerate, Davis-Winn is trying to maintain perspective despite the flood of new opportunities.

"Obviously, sometimes it can be a lot," Davis-Winn said. "But I try to stay level-headed and just keep working. That's the biggest thing. I don't want to take it for granted."

Davis-Winn has plenty of time before he needs to make a college decision, but he already knows what he’s looking for.

"Somewhere I can get a good education. Somewhere I can develop and become a better man in general."
