Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman put a stamp on the win over Rice as the Fighting Irish start preparations for Michigan State.

“Just recapping last game, I think all week we talked about being intentional about how to elevate, how to get better. I thought they did it during the week and it reflected as you watched the film. They played with fundamentals, better than they did week one and it ended up turning into better execution.
