60 years after The Game of the Century, Notre Dame is renewing their rivalry with Michigan State. It’s a primetime start on NBC, which feels appropriate given the history of the two programs who will be competing against each other for the 80th time.

It also feels a bit off because of where the two programs stand today. The Irish and the Spartans didn’t play each other from 2018-2025. As I mentioned in my Michigan State scouting report, the Irish are 87-18 in those eight seasons.
