Former Irish Player Peter Schivarelli Joins Power Hour 6-27-17

Former Irish walk-on, Peter Schivarelli, has had quite an interesting life.  The 1970 ND graduate walked on to the football team after spending a few years working in the "real world" after high school.  Unlike most walk-ons, Schivarelli was able to get on the field and play, even during a time when Notre Dame had some of it's best players in school history on the roster.  Most important, he earned his degree, for which he's very proud of.

After college, Schivarelli reunited with some former high school friends who happened to form a rock/jazz/fusion band called "Chicago."  Schivarelli quickly became their manager and he guided the band to many platinum albums and hits singles, and has managed them ever since.

But it's also Schivarelli's philanthropy towards all things Notre Dame that is also of considerable note as he's worked on a number of projects to better the University.

We hope you enjoy this interview of one of "the good guys" of Notre Dame.
