And so it is. Last week I wrote a piece on Daniel Cage and the fact that the most realistic outcome for him this season would be that he get hurt at some point. It was realistic because he has missed games or played hurt each of the last three seasons and was coming in to this one after recent knee surgery.

Maybe he could play and play at a high level when he did, but it would have been tough to predict that he would have sustained that because of his injury history.
